How to setup a new company in QuickBooks - Interview Window 4
This window prompts you to select the type of legal structure your business is. This is to assist QuickBooks in creating the proper accounts for your business and also assign the tax form lines to those accounts.
For 2012 through 2013, you already did this in the previous window.
QuickBooks 2012 to Present
Here all fields are required. The password entered here is the one you will use to login to QuickBooks website - should you need to check back for previous downloads, etc; you will need to set one up for access to your QuickBooks Company File. Now, enter your password and click "continue". Also see What is Syncing and Why Should I Sync My Data. (You will need this password to access your QuickBooks in the cloud, should you decide to sync your data. Do not check box if you do not wish to have your QuickBooks Files Synced.)
